We’re here to help!
Haringey Global Entrepreneur, a free business support programme for Haringey-based migrants and refugees, funded by Haringey Council and powered by Walk Your Talk, is designed to give you the tools, confidence, and connections to succeed in the UK.

That’s why we - Gosia Syta and Marta Zukowska - created Haringey Global Entrepreneur, a free business support programme, to help you overcome these challenges.

Be a migrant or refugee based in Haringey with settled status
Have lived in the UK for less than 5 years
Have a good level of English to participate in the sessions

Gosia has founded two successful businesses in the UK and knows the challenges that migrant entrepreneurs face. She’s helped hundreds of business owners build essential skills and will guide you through pitching, building client relationships, and developing a strong business plan.

Marta is a seasoned business advisor with a passion for helping migrant entrepreneurs succeed. She’s worked with countless businesses across the UK, especially social enterprises, helping them navigate legal and financial structures and connect with local business networks.

No. Whether you have a fully-formed idea or are just exploring options, we’ll help you refine your vision and build a plan.
I’ve never run a business before. Is this programme for me?
Absolutely. This programme is designed for people with all levels of experience, including those with no business background. You’ll get guidance every step of the way.
Is the programme suitable for people who aren’t familiar with UK business culture?
Yes. One of our modules focuses specifically on UK business culture, helping you understand the norms, practices, and how to build strong relationships in the UK market.
Is my level of English good enough for the programme?
As long as you have a good understanding of English, we’ll make sure the sessions are clear and easy to follow. We use plain language and simple explanations to ensure everyone can participate fully.
Is that for me if I’m nervous about networking and meeting new people?
You won’t be alone on this journey. Our programme is designed to be friendly and supportive, with opportunities to meet and learn from fellow participants who share your goals
